HOUSTON, TEXAS (January 2008) - Douglas J. Brickley has joined Navigant Capital Advisors as Managing Director in the Houston, Texas office. With over 15 years of experience in financial advisory services, Doug brings significant expertise to the Restructuring team. He has been involved in a number of projects including, but not limited to, financial and operational restructurings, investigations of fraud and misconduct, litigation support and expert testimony services, post acquisition and valuation dispute matters, asset divestitures and troubled company due diligence investigations for clients in numerous industries. 

Prior to joining the firm, Doug worked in the restructuring practices of two large international public accounting firms. He assisted clients of those firms in the implementation of rationalizations, turnarounds and investigations relating to underperforming companies involved in bankruptcy and other formal insolvency proceedings. Prior to that, Doug was an investment banker both in the New York investment banking department of a large regional investment banking firm and at a boutique investment banking firm in Houston, Texas. Doug was involved in numerous transactions, which included public and private debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, fairness and valuation opinions, and several strategic financial advisory assignments, for middle market and emerging growth companies, in a variety of industries including consumer and business services, specialty retail, distribution and manufacturing.

Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration from Baylor University. He is also a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
